تجنب ثلاثي منتخب إنجلترا، تامي أبراهام وبن تشيلويل وجادون سانشو، تحقيقات الشرطة الإنجليزية بشأن خرق قواعد بروتوكول فيروس كورونا المستجد، كوفيد 19.

وخرق اللاعبون الثلاثة الإجراءات الاحترازية من خلال حضور حفل عيد ميلاد أبراهام وسط ازدحام شديد من قبل الضيوف، وهو الأمر الممنوع في إنجلترا لتفادي انتشار الفيروس. (طالع التفاصيل)

ولكن لن يتم التحقيق معهم من قبل الشرطة الإنجليزية، على الرغم من تأكد غيابهم عن مباراة ويلز الودية يوم، الخميس المقبل، من الاتحاد الإنجليزي لكرة القدم مع تغريمهم 10 آلاف جنيه إسترليني.

واختتم البيان: “لذلك، لن يكون من المناسب التحقيق أو متابعة الأمر من جانب الشرطة، نحن نشجع الجميع على توعية أنفسهم بالقواعد واتباعها”.

Celtic’s transfers in recent years have had mixed successes, haven’t they? A mixture of permanent and loan signings arrive at Parkhead every year, despite some players not living up to expectations, the majority do, in fact, make a positive impact on the green side of Glasgow.

During this campaign, the vast majority of incomings, courtesy of Lee Congerton’s scouting, have been a success in relation to the fee paid for the player. Odsonne Edouard and Scott Bain have been the standouts on a permanent basis, with loanees such as Timo Weah, Oliver Burke and Filip Benkovic also particularly catching the eye in their performances.

However, across the last five years, not all the deals have been a success story. With that being said, here are two of the worst Celtic signings in recent years…

Stefan Scepovic

Scepovic joined from Sporting Gijon in 2014 off the back of a remarkable season in Spain where he scored 23 goals and assisted nine times for the La Liga 2 side.

The Serbian was unable to replicate this form in Scotland as he notched five goals in 25 appearances, with just three of them coming within 18 League appearances.

Having been rather unimpressive a lot of his turnouts in a Celtic shirt, the journeyman soon returned to Spain after just a year in Scotland and now plays his football for Jagiellonia in Poland.

Marvin Compper

Compper arrived from RB Leipzig in January 2018, yet has made just the one appearance for the Bhoys.

The 33-year-old started in a 3-0 victory over Morton in the Scottish Cup quarter-final two months after signing, but he has not played since having seemingly been hampered by injuries. His injury record speaks for itself and given how frequently he has been sidelined over the years, the move in the first place was certainly a risky one.

There is still over a year left on his contract so lots of variables could change within that time, but as things stand his transfer was one of Celtic’s worst of recent years.

There is no denying how much of an underwhelming signing Fred has been given the expectation that came with his arrival at Old Trafford.

The 26-year-old joined Manchester United for big money and was seen by some as the next Fernandinho.

Yet he barely featured under Jose Mourinho and, when he did, he failed to make much of an impression.

With all of that being said, since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took the reins, the Brazilian midfielder has shown some signs of life.

His performance against Paris Saint-Germain in his side’s Champions League comeback, in particular, was impressive and has now given Manchester United supporters reason to be optimistic about his future at the club.

That game, Fred was energetic and tenacious, showing the sort characteristics many feel the Red Devils’ midfield has been missing.

Going forward, based on that display, a midfield of the Brazil international, Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic, who has also managed to find some form in recent weeks, could lay the foundations for a title challenge next season.

There is still a lot more Fred needs to do to show Solskjaer and fans that he is the answer, but recent signs have been encouraging.

وقال موسيماني في تغريدة عبر حسابه بموقع “تويتر”: “شكراً جزيلاً سيدي الرئيس، لكن هناك من يقول إنني لست وفيًا لأنني ذهبت إلى هناك، إنه أمر مؤسف للغاية ولكن الله علمني أن أغفر من وصفني بغير الوفي، وأن أواصل مسيرتي”.

وأضاف الجنوب إفريقي: “لقد وجدت الاحترام هنا في الأهلي نادي القرن، نعم هذا ممكن”.

Loads of Manchester United have been reacting to a report on the future of Raphael Varane.

Varane is very serious about leaving Real Madrid, so much so he has even told his teammates he wants to leave, reports Marca.

كشفت تقارير صحفية إيطالية وجود حالة إصابة بفيروس كورونا في صفوف فريق إنتر ميلان.

وكان النادي الإيطالي قد أعلن، منذ قليل، إصابة اللاعب أليساندرو باستوني بفيروس كورونا، كوفيد 19، ولمطالعة التفاصيل من هنا.

وحسب صحيفة “جازيتا ديلو سبورت” الإيطالية، فإن باستوني ليس اللاعب الوحيد المصاب بالفيروس المستجد في صفوف إنتر ميلان، حيث هناك أيضًا ميلان سكرينيار.

ويتواجد سكرينيار حاليًا مع منتخب سلوفاكيا في فترة التوقف الدولي.

ولم يعلن إنتر ميلان أي شيء فيما يتعلق بحالة سكرينيار، وما إذا كان مُصاب بالفعل بفيروس كورونا أم لا.

تحدث أندريا بيرلو المدير الفني لفريق يوفنتوس، عن النجم البرتغالي كريستيانو رونالدو، والمنافسة في دوري أبطال أوروبا.

وأجرى يوفنتوس بعض التغييرات الكبيرة في الفريق هذا الصيف، ويعتقد بيرلو أنه تمكن من استبدال بعض النجوم المتقدمين في السن بمواهب شابة.

وقال في تصريحات لموقع الاتحاد الأوروبي لكرة القدم “يويفا”: “إنهم لاعبون شبان يتمتعون بجودة عالية ولديهم آفاق كبيرة للتحسين، لذلك، عندما تنتهي مرحلة من لاعبين معينين، فمن الصواب البدء من جديد مع لاعبين صغار”.

The Old Firm game is always a massive occasion, but on Sunday, it is fair to say that it is more significant for Steven Gerrard’s Rangers than it is for Celtic.

If Celtic win, it will see them with a virtually unassailable lead of 13 points, with just seven games to go.

But a Rangers win will close that gap to just seven points, and will give the blue half of Glasgow a chance — albeit a slim one — of overhauling their rivals.

Former Celtic player, Paul Hartley, told Sky Sports that Rangers have simply “got to win” and that Gerrard can not afford “any more slip ups”.

He said: “They’ve got to win. Ten points behind, eight games to go, they’ve got to go there and try to win the game.

“There’s no point in going there and trying to sit back. Celtic can afford the draw but they’ll be going to try to win the game. If they win it looks like that’s the title over.

“Rangers know they can’t afford any more slip ups. They are out of both cups, they may not have any more silverware for another year so it’s a massive game for them.”

We think, realistically, the game is more a case of Rangers consolidating a Europa League spot, than harbouring chances of winning the title.

A loss for Gerrard’s men, coupled with wins for Aberdeen at Hearts and Kilmarnock over Hamilton the previous day, will see the gap over third and fourth shrink to just five and six points respectively.

With only two games after this weekend until the split, it is vital that Rangers maintain their advantage over the chasers behind them, as failure to secure a top-three finish would be disastrous for the club.

Tottenham Hotspur fans have been backing midfielder Moussa Sissoko despite a calamitous moment on the field during Sunday’s 2-1 Premier League defeat to Liverpool at Anfield.

In the 85th minute with the match evenly poised at 1-1, the former Newcastle United star was slipped in for a two-vs-one situation against Virgil van Dijk, alongside  Son Heung-Min.

Sissoko decided to take the shot on himself under pressure and failed to remain composed enough to slot the ball home, instead smashing it into the stands.

Spurs would go onto concede late and leave Merseyside empty-handed, a real kick in the teeth when you consider their recent run of poor form and the fact that they play for the first time in their new stadium on Wednesday.

However, Lilywhites supporters have cooled down and didn’t seem angry at all when replying to a post-match Tweet from the 6 ft 1 29-year-old on Monday.

وتعرض المدافع التركي لإصابة خلال مشاركته مع منتخب تركيا، في فترة التوقف الدولي هذا الشهر.

ولم يتمكن كاجلار سويونكو من المشاركة مع أستون فيلا في مباراة الأمس أمام فريق ليستر سيتي، والتي انتهت لصالح الفيلانز بهدف دون رد.

وقال رودجرز، في تصريحات نشرتها شبكة “سكاي سبورتس” العالمية: “سويونكو يعاني من تمزق في العضلة الضامة”.
