ذكرت تقارير صحفية هولندية، أن بايرن ميونخ الألماني بات الأقرب للتعاقد مع سيرجينو ديست، ظهير أيمن أياكس أمستردام من برشلونة الإسباني.

وقالت صحيفة “AD” الهولندية، يبدو أن بايرن ميونخ سيفوز بسباق التعاقد مع اللاعب الأمريكي البالغ من العمر 19 عامًا”.

وأضافت الصحيفة: “بايرن وأساكس يقتربان أكثر فأكثر من التوصل إلى اتفاق لإتمام الصفقة”.

وتابعت: “النادي الألماني قدم الأسبوع الماضي 15 مليون يورو، ورفع عرضه هذا الأسبوع”.

يذكر أن أياكس يطالب بـ25 مليون يورو شاملة الإضافات والمكافآت المرتبطة بأداء اللاعب.

وأتمت الصحيفة: “من المتوقع أن يتم إعلان انتقال ديست إلى بايرن ميونخ هذا الأسبوع بشكل رسمي”.

Following last summer where they failed to sign anyone, Tottenham once again saw no new arrivals in the transfer window last month.

The north London club, however, did seem to be interested in signing a new striker with Harry Kane out injured if latest rumours are to be believed.

The Breakdown

According to TEAMtalk, Tottenham made an approach for Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic which, unsurprisingly, was rebuffed with the west London outfit uninterested in doing business, especially at the £27m fee reported.

And with the 24-year-old leading the club’s survival push, it is not hard to understand why. In 26 Premier League games, he has managed to find the back of the net on 10 occasions while his all-round centre-forward play has been top-notch, making Tottenham’s interest make some sense.

That being said, Mitrovic does not come without baggage with the Serbia international’s discipline having often come into question in the past, while a reported bust-up with former team-mate Aboubakar Kamara (Sky Sports) can be seen as another red flag.

Considering that, bringing in the Fulham man may not have been worth it in the end. Fernando Llorente has also sparked into life in recent weeks, giving Mauricio Pochettino a solid alternative to the injured Kane.

Mitrovic is certainly a good No.9 who could have added something to this Tottenham side but, given some of his history, plenty of supporters are likely to be delighted with his failed transfer and might actually see it as a bullet dodged.

وقال مورينيو في تصريحات لشبكة “BBC” بعد المباراة: “لم نبدأ بشكل سيئ، في أول ربع ساعة كنا جيدين وفقدنا السيطرة، فقدنا معظم المبارزات، كنت على مقاعد البدلاء وأتمنى أن ينتهي الشوط الأول بهدف نظيف فقط”.

وأضاف: “نحن نعرف ساوثهامبتون جيدًا، لعبت أمامهم 4 مباريات الموسم الماضي، مرتين في الدوري ومرتين في الكأس، أدركنا أن الظهير يتقدم لذلك يترك خلفه المساحة، وقتلناهم بهذه الخطة، كان هاري كين يذهب إلى المكان الفارغ، لقد غيّر اللعبة تمامًا”.

وأكمل: “هاري أفضل لاعب في المباراة، صنع 4 أهداف لـ سون، وسجل هدفًا، وكان مصدر قلق كبير لدفاع ساوثهامبتون”.

وعن استبعاد ديلي آلي: “لقد تم استبعاده لأننا نملك عدد كبير جدًا من اللاعبين في الفريق، عليك اختيار 18 لاعبًا فقط، وهناك 8 لا يمكن إقحامهم في القائمة، هذا ليس سهلًا على ديلي آلي، لكنه لا يزال جزءًا من خطط توتنهام”.

وعن التعاقد مع جاريث بيل وريجيلون: “ليس من العدل أن أتحدث عن التعاقدات الجديدة اليوم، نحن حققنا فوزًا كبيرًا بخمسة أهداف، عندما ينتمي بيل وريجيلون إلى الفريق، ويكونان مستعدين للعب، يمكنني التحدث عنهما”.

On Tuesday Roy Hodgson provided an injury update on his squad and revealed that Mamadou Sakho will miss the clash against Manchester United on Wednesday as his struggles continue – the Frenchman limped off in the first half of the win over Leicester at the weekend.

What’s the update?

Hodgson had been hopeful of the 29-year-old’s availability for the midweek battle with the Red Devils, saying after their emphatic 4-1 victory on Saturday:

“He [Sakho] missed a lot of training and didn’t play against Doncaster Rovers as a result of feeling the knee in the West Ham game so he was out for a week having treatment, but he trained all of this week in the lead up to this game.

“But obviously he felt the knee again today.

“So we will have to reassess it on Monday and hope for the best.”

However, far from ‘the best’ news awaited the Premier League’s oldest-ever manager, who has now confirmed that assessment of the defender’s knee is ongoing and that he will not be in contention for the visit of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and co.

Sakho isn’t the only one

Fortunately for the Selhurst Park outfit, United’s injury woes are far greater than theirs and the 13-time Premier League champions will be without up to ten players for the game, including Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial.

The lightning-quick duo have become crucial to Norwegian Solskjaer’s style of play but he will likely be forced, now, to deploy the considerably less mobile Romelu Lukaku up front – this will surely be of huge relief to Scott Dann, who would have been totally mismatched against the aforementioned duo’s pace.

The veteran centre-back replaced 29-year-old Sakho at the heart of defence against Leicester and will likely continue to deputise next time out.  The former Blackburn man will fancy himself far more in a physical battle than one of speed – he is surely one of the division’s slowest players.

The 32-year-old might not be as quality a defender as Sakho, but he is a force to be reckoned with in the air – United have scored 11 goals from set-pieces this season and Palace have conceded 10, so Dann’s heading ability in defence of corners will be crucial.

Sakho’s injury is hardly a blessing in disguise for Palace but there is at least one positive to be taken from Dann replacing the former Liverpool man at centre-half.
