João Martins disse que é “ruim para o sistema” o Alviverde conquistar o Brasileirão duas vezes consecutivas, afirmando que no Brasil “muitas vezes não deixam os melhores ganharem”. A entidade afirmou que irá ao Superior Tribunal de Justiça Desportiva (STJD) para que o profissional revele o suposto sistema.

Em entrevista coletiva após a partida na capital paranaense, João Martins foi incisivo ao comentar o lance que gerou pênalti em Endrick, logo no início da partida. Zé Ivaldo, zagueiro do Furacão, deu uma cotovelada no jovem palmeirense. O árbitro foi chamado ao VAR, assinalou o pênalti e deu apenas cartão amarelo para o defensor, o que na visão alviverde condicionou todo o restante do duelo, pois seria jogada para vermelho direto.

– Nós entendemos que o futebol brasileiro passa uma imagem de que é futebol mais competitivo do mundo porque ganham vários. Mas ganham vários porque muitas vezes não deixam os melhores ganharem. Foi mais uma vez o que se passou hoje. Nós entendemos que é ruim para o sistema o Palmeiras ganhar dois anos seguidos, entendemos isso. Mas na Europa há sempre dois ou três que ganham sempre e são os melhores, trabalham dia a dia para serem os melhores, que é o que nós fazemos – disse João.

– Não vale a pena colocar o presidente amanhã mostrando frames, parando imagem, para justificar incompetência e erros grosseiros que fazem com quem trabalha mais diariamente, que vai lutar até o fim, mesmo que não nos deixem, não há problema, vamos lutar até o fim, vamos dar o nosso melhor, que é para isso que somos pagos por um clube fantástico. Na nota divulgada nesta segunda, a CBF afirmou que a entrevista de João Martins foi um “desfile de grosserias” e que o comportamento do jogador brasileiro criticado pelo auxiliar do Palmeiras “não corresponde à realidade”. Ainda, a entidade salientou que a gestão da arbitragem nunca esteve tão transparente, e que inclusive está reconhecendo seus próprios erros.

Por fim, a CBF disse que encaminhará o vídeo com as declarações do profissional ao presidente do STJD, José Perdiz de Jesus, e ao procurador Ronaldo Botelho Piacente para que ele releve “qual esquema ou o sistema no futebol brasileiro não permite que o melhor vença”.

A Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (CBF) lamenta profundamente o que se viu ontem (02/07) por parte do auxiliar técnico do Palmeiras, João Martins, designado para a entrevista coletiva pós jogo. O ato lamentável foi muito além das reclamações semanais da arbitragem. O que ocorreu, de fato, foi um desfile de grosserias e uma tentativa infantil e até xenofóbica de reduzir a relevância do futebol brasileiro na Europa, mostrando inclusive desconhecimento do próprio campeonato que disputa, que já teve tricampeões, bicampeões, com vários times ganhando seguidamente.

O comportamento do jogador brasileiro, que o funcionário em questão tanto critica, não corresponde à realidade, na medida em que o Brasil é o país do mundo que mais tem jogadores atuando no exterior, inclusive na própria seleção portuguesa.

A atual gestão da arbitragem da CBF nunca, em nenhum momento, esteve tão transparente e se expôs tanto, dando satisfações públicas semanais, inclusive reconhecendo eventuais erros. Somos o único país do mundo a oferecer avanços tecnológicos nos estádios, com os telões mostrando os lances da partida em tempo real. Inclusive, o lance em questão, alvo de reclamação, foi acompanhado por todo o estádio, por jogadores e torcedores. A CBF, através de sua comissão de arbitragem, quer assim dar total transparência aos lances duvidosos que normalmente ocorrem durante as partidas.

Nunca a entidade investiu tanto no aprimoramento da arbitragem. Nesta segunda-feira (03/07), por exemplo, os árbitros designados para a próxima etapa da Copa do Brasil estão em treinamento no Rio de Janeiro. E também hoje à tarde, e pelos próximos 15 dias, as árbitras vão passar por cursos, treinamentos e aprimoramento técnico. Os investimentos são expressivos e com foco na constante melhoria da qualidade do quadro de arbitragem. Avanços esses que somos pioneiros no mundo.

Equívocos de arbitragem, de jogadores, técnicos, acontecem em todos os lugares, inclusive e, principalmente, na Europa. São parte do processo, do mecanismo do futebol, que não é feito por máquinas. Portanto, nada justifica o que se viu ontem e que foi amplamente divulgado pela imprensa em todo o mundo.

A CBF está encaminhando o vídeo contendo as declarações do profissional do Palmeiras ao presidente e ao procurador do STJD para que ele revele qual seria o esquema ou o sistema no futebol brasileiro que não permite que o melhor vença.

Ian Holland’s 113 minutes’ resistance for 11 ended when he nicked an outswinger from Conway but Logan van Beek and Ben Green also batted for more than 100 minutes.Even after van Beek fell lbw to Justin Broad, the last two wickets added 37 as Tom Scriven and Hull offered Green support. أدلى المدير الفني لفريق ليفربول، آرني سلوت، بتصريحات عقب هزيمتهم الرابعة على التوالي في بطولة الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، مساء أمس، أمام برينتفورد.

وتعرض ليفربول لهزيمة جديدة في الدوري الإنجليزي، وهذه المرة على يد برينتفورد، بثلاثة أهداف مقابل هدفين في الجولة التاسعة.

وقال سلوت، في تصريحات نشرتها شبكة “بي بي سي” العالمية: “نتيجة مخيبة للآمال وأداء مخيب للآمال أيضًا اليوم، تلقي ثلاثة أهداف أمر مبالغ فيه للغاية إذا كنت تريد الفوز بمباراة كرة قدم”.

وأضاف: “الهدف الأول كان من ركلة ثابتة، الثاني كان من هجمة مرتدة، وهي إحدى مهارات برينتفورد المتميزة، لم ندافع ضدها إطلاقًا، أصبحنا في المباراة من جديد بعدما سجلنا هدفًأ قبل نهاية الشوط الأول، ولكن احتساب ضربة جزاء ضدنا جعلت من المستحيل تحقيق نتيجة إيجابية اليوم”.

وعن احتساب ركلة جزاء لصالح برينتفورد، قال: “الأمر صعب، لو لم يحتسب الحكم ركلة حرة، لست متأكدًا مما إذا كان سيحتسبها، لكنه احتسب الركلة الحرة، وحكم الفيديو المساعد يقول إنها داخل المنطقة (ضربة جزاء)، إذن عليك أن تتقبل أنها داخل المنطقة”.

وأردف: “إذا نظرت إلى نفس الموقف مع جاكبو في الشوط الأول، كان الأمر أكثر من ذلك، ولكن لا يمكن مقارنة الوضعين، لأن الحكم لا أعتقد أنه كان يُخطط لاحتساب ضربة جزاء ضدنا، ولكن تبين أن العرقلة من داخل المنطقة”.

وعن تعرضهم لأربع هزائم متتالية، قال: “ما عليّ فعله هو النظر إلى أخطائنا وما نفعله بشكل جيد، لدي فكرة واضحة عن الجوانب التي يجب تحسينها، لكن لم يكن هذا هو الحال في المباريات الأخرى، لم نُحسن أدائنا اليوم، للفرق أسلوب لعب معين ضدنا، وهي استراتيجية ممتازة لمواجهتنا، لم نجد حلًا بعد”.

واعترف: “لا يمكن مقارنة جميعها، ولكن الأمر الأكثر إثارة للقلق هو الخسارة 4 مرات متتالية، بعد ذلك يمكنك الحكم على الأداء، اليوم كان الأسوأ في رأيي من بين كافة المباريات الأربعة، السبب؟ لم نُحسن أداء أساسياتنا في الشوط الأول وأجزاء من الثاني، لقد فازوا في المواجهات الثنائية أكثر منا، وحصلوا على كرات ثانية أكثر منا، وإذا أتيت إلى هنا وأنت تعلم أنك ستستقبل أهدافًا، فقد يكون أحدها من ركلة ثابتة، كما أن الهجمة المرتدة من أبرز نقاط قوتهم، وهذا ما أدى إلى تلقينا هدفين”.

وشدد: “لم يكن الأداء جيدًا، ربما باستثناء 20/25 دقيقة من الشوط الأول، عندما كنا متأخرين بهدف،ولكن في تلك الدقائق شعرت أن النتيجة ممكنة لقلبها، ولكن بالنظر إلى بقية المباراة وبالنظر إلى أسلوب لعبنا وطريقة لعب برينتفورد، لم يكن تحقيق ذلك ممكنًا”.

واسترسل: “بعد تأخرنا بنتيجة 3-1، حاولنا، وقمنا ببعض التبديلات، ولكن لأكون صريحًا تمامًا، ربما كان تسجيلهم في تلك اللحظة أكثر احتمالًا منا لجعل النتيجة 3-2”.

وعن الإصابات، قال: “من الأفضل أن يكون جميع لاعبيك متاحين، هذا أمر بسيط وواضح، ولكن إذا لم يكن هذا هو الوضع، فعلى اللاعبين المتاحين لدينا تقديم أداء جيد، هذا أمر ممكن في الموسم وهذا ما يحدث معنا الآن (كثرة الإصابات)، هذا أمر لا يعجبني بالطبع، ولكن يجب تقبله”.

وأخيرًا عن حالة كورتيس جونز، قال: “علينا أن ننتظر ونرى، لقد طلب ​​الخروج، لكنه غادر بدلًا من أن يحتاج إلى علاج مكثف، لذلك عليّ الانتظار ونرى، هناك العديد من المباريات، وبعد ثلاثة أو أربعة أيام هناك مباراة أخرى”.

Wirtz knows what he's "capable of" after slow start

For all of Liverpool’s spending, it’s been the old guard maintaining their 100% record at times. Whilst Hugo Ekitike has found his feet right away, Florian Wirtz hasn’t registered a goal involvement since the Community Shield, Milos Kerkez has had weaknesses exposed and Alexander Isak is still getting back to full sharpness.

Out of all those players, Wirtz has arguably received the most criticism. The German become the Premier League’s most expensive player for a brief moment before Isak made his move, but has so far failed to match the physicality of English football.

Glimpses of quality began to emerge against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League, but it wasn’t enough to keep his place as Arne Slot dropped his new signing for Alexis Mac Allister in the Merseyside derby. Wirtz, however, is far from worried – telling Sky Germany that he knows what he’s “capable of”.

In the meantime, Liverpool sit five points clear at the top of the Premier League with the only 100% record. If there’s any environment that will gift Wirtz the patience that he needs, it is Anfield and Arne Slot’s side who have remained perfect without his heavy influence.

Even after that slow start, Liverpool are not deterred. In fact, reports are now suggesting that they’re ready to spend big once again on a player who could even combine with Wirtz.

Liverpool planning aggressive Alvarez approach

According to reports in Spain, Liverpool are now planning an aggressive approach to sign Julian Alvarez and are the best placed side to lure the Atletico Madrid star back to the Premier League ahead of Barcelona.

If Liverpool’s frontline looks dangerous now, then it will look an even greater threat with a player of Alvarez’s quality added. The Argentina international is already a Premier League winner from during his time at Manchester City and has since become Atletico’s leading star.

A convocação de Méndez vai adiar a conversa entre o staff do atleta e o Timão pela renovação contratual do zagueiro de 23 anos. As partes devem se reunir para selar o acordo após a Data Fifa. Com o vínculo terminando em dezembro, o defensor pode assinar um pré-contrato com outro time desde junho. 

O Corinthians conversa com os agentes do jogador há, pelo menos, três meses, na tentativa de fechar a renovação. Porém, a situação não tinha evoluído porque existia a expectativa por parte do atleta e dos seus representantes de que uma proposta do futebol europeu chegasse, o que não aconteceu. A janela de transferências das principais ligas europeias fechou na última sexta-feira (1º).

Há um compromisso verbal por parte do grupo que cuida da carreira de Méndez de que na ausência de ofertas do Velho Continente, seria dada prioridade para a renovação com o Timão. As partes até divergem em relação ao aumento salarial que será dado para a formalização de um novo contrato, mas com uma diferença de valores que não é tão grande e é vista como facilmente negociável.

Atlético-MG, Flamengo e Internacional monitoram a situação do jogador e podem atrapalhar o negócio corintiano a qualquer momento. Por parte do clube alvinegro, o maior temor são os cariocas, que possuem um bom poderio financeiro e podem tentar convencer o atleta e o seu estafe através das cifras atreladas ao salário.

Somehow, some way, Liverpool thought they had done it again. It’s also worth noting that it was once again almost an unexpected hero who emerged and not the big-money men. Alexander Isak had a couple of chances that he, at his best, should be scoring. Wirtz, meanwhile, struggled off the left and only showed some signs of life in the middle of the park in the second period. Once again, in truth, the German had an afternoon to forget.

It’s now six Premier League games without a goal or assist, with patience beginning to run out around those watching on. Those at Anfield know the talent that they’ve signed, but he will need to show more than glimpses of his talent sooner rather than later.

Taking aim at Wirtz, Sutton was particularly shocked by the German’s struggle in front of goal. The former Bayer Leverkusen man did his record little good by missing a chance that he should have converted, ghosting in behind only to shove a close-range effort right at Dean Henderson.

It’s wake-up call for Liverpool. Slot’s side simply must improve. They remain top of the Premier League, but there are several problems for them to fix before they square off against Chelsea in their next league outing next weekend.

Whether that means a decision is coming for Slot regarding Wirtz is the award question that must be asked at Anfield.
