A primeira etapa começou bastante truncada e sem grandes chances de perigo. O Sport tentava valer o fator casa, mas os visitantes não davam espaços para os anfitriões criarem chances. Aos 5, o Caruaru teve a primeira chance, com Renzo. No entanto, a defesa do Sport cortou o perigo. O Leão respondeu pouco tempo depois, aos 14. Na jogada em contra-ataque, Ítalo tocou para Alan, mas a zaga do Caruaru afastou. Três minutos depois, em jogada ensaiada, Cáceres recebeu na entrada da área, mas mandou por cima do gol de Igor.

A segunda etapa começou mais movimentada. Nenhum dos times voltou para brincadeira. Com isso, não demorou para que o Caruaru City abrisse o placar. Aos 4, Tiago Costa cruzou, e Gustavo subiu e cabeceou com força, mandando no fundo do gol. Em resposta imediata, o Sport deixou tudo igual aos 9. Everton Felipe recebeu e lançou na área, onde Flávio Souza antecipou a marcação e tocou de cabeça em cima do gol de Igor Leonardo. O Leão da Ilha seguiu na pressão e teve chances com Parraguez e Everton Felipe.

A equipe da casa seguiu dando trabalho aos adversários. Anulando todas as chances dos visitantes, o Sport até conseguiu a virada. Aos 28, Parraguez aproveitou cruzamento de Denner e cabeceou para o gol. No entanto, a arbitragem pegou impedimento e anulou o gol. O time não se abalou e seguiu tentando. Aos 31, Cáceres tentou, mas mandou fraco. Na sequência, Túlio respondeu, chegando livre e cabeceou por cima do gol de Maílson. O Sport ainda teve uma chance aos 34. The 28-year-old was also outstanding in Tottenham’s impressive 4-0 win over Man City at the Etihad Stadium last weekend, playing 60 minutes with a fractured ankle in what was a heroic feat of endurance.

Tottenham have confirmed that Vicario has undergone surgery on his right ankle, meaning he faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines. The Italy international hasn’t missed a single Premier League game since making the move to North London last year, but Ange Postecoglou is now forced to rely on Fraser Forster to deputy for Vicario.

It is an undoubted blow for the north Londoners, given just how much they’ve relied on Vicario in-between the sticks since his arrival.

“One of my mates from Celtic actually played with him at Empoli, and he’s raved about him for ages, so as soon as he was coming here he said he’s a very, very good goalkeeper,” said Forster on Vicario right after he joined.

“Top guy. He’s been brilliant in the games, he’s been brilliant around the place, trains well and works hard, so it’s a good start for him.”

According to talkSPORT, Spurs are considering the signing of an emergency new goalkeeper in January, who can fill in for Vicario while the ex-Serie A star recovers from his surgery.

As per their information, an option for the Lilywhites is Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford. The former Man City gem is itching to make a return to the Premier League, after being relegated with Burnley last season, and Trafford is apparently a contender to join Spurs and step into Vicario’s shoes.

The 22-year-old is in his infancy when it comes to the shelf life of a keeper, so this could be a long-term signing, as well as an immediate replacement for Vicario.

However, he won’t come cheap, as reports earlier this year suggested Trafford commands a price tag of around £30 million.

Dubbed “very talented” by Brendan Rodgers during the pair’s time together at Leicester, Iheanacho’s career has taken a dip since, with the Nigerian forward scoring just six times for the Foxes last season before moving to Spain.

He found the net against the Baggies in both the 2017/18 season and the 2020/21 campaign, helping them on their way to relegation from the Premier League on both occasions, but now could find himself trying to push them back towards the Premier League should he arrive at the club in January. A seleção uruguaia, com Arrascaeta, não deve ser o único problema para o Flamengo neste sentido. He bats anywhere from No. 1-7; he scores quickly against pace and spin; he bowls offbreaks and legbreaks in the same over; and he is a safe pair of hands fielding in the deep.Livingstone has spent most of his T20 career for Lancashire opening the batting but is likely to shuffle down to No. 4 or 5 for Punjab, with Mayank Agarwal and Shikhar Dhawan set to open the batting. “[Jonny] Bairstow and Livingstone play together for the same team,” Anil Kumble, Punjab’s head coach, said, “and [will] probably play the same, or similar, roles for us.”It is a role with which Livingstone is now familiar. Recognising the logjam at the top of England’s batting lineup three years ago, he formulated a medium-term plan to gain experience in the middle order – and in different conditions – by playing franchise cricket during the English winter. كشف الجهاز الفني لفريق الزمالك عن اللاعبين البدلاء أمام ستيلينبوش الجنوب إفريقي، في إياب دور ربع نهائي بطولة الكونفدرالية الإفريقية، والمقرر إقامتها مساء اليوم على ملعب القاهرة الدولي.

يأتي هذا اللقاء بعد أن انتهت مباراة الذهاب الأسبوع الماضي في كيب تاون – بالتعادل السلبي، ما يترك المنافسة مفتوحة بين الفريقين، مع تمتع الزمالك بميزة اللعب على أرضه وبين جماهيره، مما يجعله مرشحًا أقوى للتأهل، خاصة مع ضرورة تجنب التعادل لتفادي الدخول في متاهة ركلات الترجيح.

ومن أبرز الغيابات في تشكيلة الزمالك، الثنائي محمود عبد الرازق شيكابالا لعدم الجاهزية وأحمد سيد زيزو، الذي استبعده الجهاز الفني من القائمة النهائية للمباراة، في خطوة تأتي بعد تأكيدات من مصادر خاصة لـ بطولات بشأن توقيعه للنادي الأهلي.
